E Lockhart, -Book Review

I desperately enjoyed this book. And not just because my man got it for me as an anniversary gift, but because it’s genuinely well written. I must admit though that I love that he thought I would enjoy it and boy did I devour it.

Genuine Fraud is the story about girls. Ruthless girls, cunning girls, beautiful girls, smart daring girls.Jule West and her best friend Imogen are girls who aren’t afraid to be who they really are. This one girl takes on the identity of another, living the life of a fraud, and does some messed up, dark stuff along the way. She’s constantly trying to cover her dirty tracks and will do anything to get away it. Anything. Honestly anything else said would simply spoil the plot.

The book is narrated in reverse timeline and the twists, turns and subtle clues as to what’s going on, made it incredibly intriguing to read.

What a mind trip. I have officially been sold to the world of thrillers and I love that this was my first.

4/5 ⭐️

Nothing in life is constant but change and dealing with change is central to one's growth. Heraclitus noted that “everything changes and nothing stands still.”
